Passports? Check!

We have brand new passports in hand!

My passport was set to expire about 60 days after our trip to St. Lucia. Susan's still had her maiden name in the front and her married name in the back. Normally, this hasn't been an issue, but it did cause us a minor delay in Miami when we went on the cruise. So, we decided to renew both. We wanted to make sure there was enough time, so we mailed in our applications on June 25. We figured we'd get them back in August or September. Instead, we got them back today! It only took them 7 days! Pretty impressive.

At Susan's insistence, we also applied for the new passport card that we can use when going into Canada or Mexico. Those haven't arrived yet, but should get here later this summer.

Now that we have our passports, maybe we can look at a quick trip to Europe in October. Colorado mountains or Swiss Alps?? If we can get frequent flier tickets, I say Europe!
