Fireworks

Normally we go to my work to watch fireworks on the Fourth. This year, the weather was questionable and Susan and I were just too tired. We decided to stay home and try to see the local fireworks - assuming the weather was going to cooperate. And, it did. The rain stopped and it turned out to be a pretty nice evening, though a little humid.

Jared and Danielle came over with Owen, Otis and Ella. We ended up sitting in chairs behind the garage watching the fireworks. As it turned out, we had a GREAT view! It was really fun. I got to hold Owen for some of the fireworks. Not sure how much he could really distinguish, but he was really alert and seemed to be watching them. He's a cool dude.

I really like the ones we see from work, but it was nice to just sit behind the garage and watch the show, skip the traffic, and just walk back inside.
