Happy Fourth of July!!

Yesterday we had a really fun evening celebrating Susan's Birthday. We originally had hoped to have a 'deck' party, but mother nature didn't cooperate and we ended up inside. Joyce came over from Indiana and Mom and Dad joined us too. We had good food and fun. Very special guest Owen Dominak joined us, along with his staff. (He's gotten bigger in the few weeks since we last saw him) Owen's chef brought yummy cheese puffs - Thanks Danielle! Lori made it to the party too - would have been her first party on the deck if it hadn't rained...hmmmm, coincidence?? The MOH was there, along with Rissa (who flew in from California just for the event). Sadly, Erin couldn't join us because she was headed back to California to start post college life (yeah!). Scott and Cindy broke the gift rule, but they get a pass 'cause it's really cool and Susan loved it! And finally, James and his delicate wife [;-)] Megan arrived fashionably late. No worries there though, James was probably tired after a grueling 18 hour work week!

Everyone humored me as I 'played' bartender and I even made $1.26 in tips!! Next time I'm going to put out a bigger tip jar!

We wrapped it up watching Red, White & Boom on the TV. That high-def picture made it almost like being there!! :-)
