Aboard United 334 to CMH...
We all just hung out at the house today. Mick made yummy french toast for breakfast. We all ate in shifts as people got up at different times and followed the smells coming from the kitchen. It was a good time to sit around and visit some more. Mike was telling me about the shed he is building next to his garage. I always enjoy visits with him, he's a really neat guy. We get to see him again in June when we head out to California for Erin's graduation.
Anne Marie made a very tasty crab casserole for lunch and we set up a table and chairs on the back porch. The porch never receives direct sunlight and has ceiling fans so it was always very comfortable our there. Mick and Anne Marie would like to enclose it with windows and screens this year and they think they had enough flooring left over that they could put the hardwood floors out there too. (They were wise and had the underside of the porch insulated.) It will really be a neat room once it is enclosed.
It was good to see all of them, and it was good to hear Mick affirm that he won't let that much time pass between visits again. I know that would be good for Susan, so I hope that turns out to be the case.
Travel home has been pretty easy, but Susan is sitting next to a 'chatterbox' who is talking her ear off!! :-)
