Why you should get to airport two hours before your flight...

We made it to the airport 1 hour, 20 minutes before our flight on Midwest to find out our flight was cancelled. Everything was going to be OK though, because Northwest had a flight at 6:30 that would get us to LA at 11 AM, right on time. But wait, the lady at Midwest's counter didn't know how to use the computer, so we had to wait until they found someone who did. When that person arrived, things still did not go well because the computer system was slow. We were finally issued e-tickets and hustled to Norhwest's counter where we were told it was too late to make the 6:30 flight! The lady at Northwest was helpful, and we are on a 9 AM flight getting in to LA at 1:10 PM. If we had arrived at the airport 2 hours before our flight, like is suggested, we very likely would have made the 6:30 flight and arrived in LA on time. As it is, we didn't and now will lose 2 hours visiting with the MOH and Co.
