Bright spots on dark days...

With things at work they way they are, it seems like the dark days will never end.

Today, my time report was rejected. I instantly assumed the worst and thought by boss was being a jerk. Too much time, not enough time, etc., etc. I worked about an hour on a vacation day and he wanted to make sure I reduced my vacation hours so they wouldn't be wasted on work. Took me completely by surprise.

And another... I decided to take my lunch today and headed to the mini-metro park near work. The weather was outstanding and it was refreshing being out of the building getting some fresh air.

I have to remember to make an effort to find the bright spots on the dark days. Eventually, things will cycle up.
