Papal Mass - Washington

I really wanted to go to Washington for the Papal Mass. When it was announced, I made hotel reservations and checked airfare. As time went by, I realized it was extremely unlikely I would be able to get tickets. I was sad, but then thought maybe I would take time off of work and watch it on TV. Unfortunately, my current work environment makes taking time off a bit of a challenge. I probably could've gotten the day, but there would likely have been some retribution. So, with a thankful heart for the blessing of the internet, I am participating at my desk. EWTN is streaming the event live. It has been fun to watch the joy on the Holy Father's face. As I've said, il papa has been a surprise and blessing. And a reminder that we should never pre-judge anything.
