Cruise Wrap Up...
We're onboard AirTran 374, headed back home to Columbus. Travel this morning has been pretty easy. We had an early flight and decided to skip the RCCL bus and the taxi's...opting for a town-car transfer back to the Orlando airport. It's a little more than a taxi, but COMPLETELY WORTH IT! The trip to the airport was smooth, easy and comfortable. We used a company called Access Line Transportation. Definitely recommend it, and would use them again.
This was our 7th voyage with Royal Caribbean. We still like RCCL, but learned a few things on this trip.
- We tried the late dinner seating, but prefer the early one.
- Always, always check your table location. Crown and Anchor membership and 6 previous trips doesn't mean crap to Royal Caribbean. They'll still stick you in the back corner of the dining room and forget about you.
- Make sure you check your sea pass account for 'mini bar' charges. They'll charge you for stuff that you didn't use. I mean seriously, who buys snacks from a mini bar when they're on a cruise where food is available 24 hours a day?!
- Try the Mango Mai Tai - several times a day.
- Spends lots of time at Vintages Wine Bar (Thanks Scott!)
- Count on your Captain to find sun in questionable weather...ours really came through on this one!
Overall, a really good vacation though. We're rested and relaxed.
P.S. DD - We learned some new dance steps on the cruise that we may have to show you...
