The New Year

December came and went with a flurry of activity.  We finished the floors, purchased a rug (BIG THANK YOU to Kent and Mark!) and put up the decorations.  One of our highlights was Christmas Tree hunting with James and Megan.  This was James' first time cutting down a Christmas Tree.  The weather was good (though, a little cold) and we all found the perfect tree.  This year we stopped for Margaritas on the way home.  A new Christmas tradition was born.  Susan's brother stayed with us for Christmas this year.  It was fun having him with us and we both really enjoyed the opportunity to spend time with him.  Susan's Mom also joined us for a couple of days, so this was an extra special holiday for her.  We had dinner and gifts with my family and then ended the day with the MOH and her crew.  Rang in the new year with friends at Chi Tai and then got back to work.

Susan and I are going on a cruise with Scott and Cindy in March.  I am heading back to the gym to try the personal trainer thing again.  I am paying money, so I really need to take advantage of the opportunity.  This time around, I think I will manage it a little differently.  I met with a new trainer, and we start working together tomorrow.

Susan has been busy with travel.  She had a sales conference in Phoenix, and is off to New York City this week.  We went shopping yesterday to get her a warm winter dress coat.  She bought a full length, black, wool/cashmere coat from Brooks Brothers.  She looked AWESOME in it.

That's it for now, back to work!
